LA RUA

The group was formed in Ascoli Piceno from the artistic partnership between Daniele Incicco and producer Dardust.

In 2012, he took part in the Sanremo selections, ranking among the top 30 most voted artists in the Sanremo social contest and, also in the same year, was awarded by the Associazione Fonografi Italiani. In December 2012, he placed first in the Area Sanremo contest after passing the selection among 320 artists.

In 2013, La Rua opened the only Italian date of the Imagine Dragons tour in Milan. In 2015, after releasing their first album entitled La Rua, they performed on stage at the May Day Concert, winning an award in the 'Best Group' section of the 1MNEXT contest.

In the same year they joined Maria De Filippi's Amici school, winning in March 2016 access to the serale in the team captained by artistic directors Emma and Elisa, remaining in the programme until May 2016.

In December 2016, they participated in the programme Sarà Sanremo with the song Tutta la vita questa vita. The song later became the theme song of Dopofestival 2017.

Il sabato fa così became the theme song of Parliamone... sabato aired on Rai 1 and hosted by Paola Perego.

In 2017, La Rua performed again at the May Day Concert and in the same year the band was personally selected by Cristina D'Avena to duet in one of the songs contained within Duets - Tutti Cantano Cristina, the song chosen being È quasi magia, Johnny!

On 23 March 2018, the single Sull'orlo di una crisi d'amore, sung in duet with Federica Carta, was released and on 6 July 2018, the EP Nessuno segnna da solo, anticipated by the single I 90, was released.

On 27 November of the same year, the band's participation in Sanremo Giovani 2018 was made official by Claudio Baglioni with the song Alla mia età si vola, which ranked 2nd with a televote record of 35%, behind Mahmood. Thanks to this result, the band participates in March 2019 in a world tour organised by Rai and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, playing in 5 continents and 7 cities. On 1 May 2019, La Rua returned for the third time to the stage of the Concerto del Primo Maggio in Rome.

In 2022 and 2023, the new singles 'Sotto un treno' are released. , 'Cinghiali' and 'Periodo Di Merda' written by Daniele Incicco and produced by Nacor Fischetti and Charlie Mariani, with the artistic supervision of Elisa Toffoli.

In February 2024, with the song, 'Governo del cuore', written and produced by Daniele Incicco and Dardust, they participated in the third edition of the festival Una Voce Per San Marino, receiving the critics' award for best radio song and placing third.
